We have a hybrid pay-plan that pays techs per hour, with a commission on efficiency and not just flat rate. Our business is primarily upgrades so we want them one thoroughly and there isn't a "book" time on a lot of what we do. Also, we work with hand tools only, no air, so we want our techs really paying close attention to proper torque specs. We can certainly get together to discuss.
