The way I compare two players is this : Ask yourself which player you would pick at age 20 if you were the coach of a NBA team and knew EXACTLY how each player would turn out to be in the future..
Knowing what both Kobe and TD have accomplished in their carriers, I would have picked TD over Kobe in a heartbeat. What really separates him from Kobe is his leadership skills which Kobe totally lacks.
My 20 bucks against anyone's dollar that EVERY single coach in NBA would pick TD over Kobe if both were young (knowing their future as I mentioned above)
