I have the sun shade issue on the rear window shade in my M5. I have to manually push it to close when I hit the button. I haven't even looked into fixing it, I just leave it up for the shade in the back at all times. My M760i hasn't had that issue, but I'm sure it will one day.
Yours is in a weird spot on the passenger rear door, have you gotten a quote?
