Dinan has been working on the 4.4l TTV8 engine (X6 50i and F01/F02, etc) for well over a year now. I think back in May or June of last year is when they got their hands on an X6 with this engine and started to work on the software tune. Then they added or changed the turbos and a whole slew of other things. A couple month later they got their first F01 and kept working on the software tune for the engine. I haven't really followed it since then...
