We all have our version of American football, you just added an other player, we actually know what a ball should look like so as entertainment for those who are not too busy driving around in series people do follow, they rather carry around their spouses than spend their time with a game so wrongly named.

I do understand the ice hockey conversation is still bugging you and I will be ready and waiting when your slow defense system fails again in the next big games to continue this fascinating conversation about a game that takes more skill and speed people who play with a "ball" can possibly see as needed. After all, your best athletes seem to be hunting balls, that are shaped like my uncle if he ever tried to carry my rather large aunt.

Just to make you feel better over the sad fact that I have never heard of the "famous" Canadian athletes, and to be a good sport, I will now reveal my vast knowledge of all sport related heroes of my country.

A person who is dear to me asked me a while back if anyone famous has ever come from Finland. My answer was naturally A. I. Virtanen.

Now, because unlike I, all world doesn't consider stars of milk related inventions as the sole reason to gain fame, it is okay you either don't know the man who invented a way to store feed for cows for winter and so insuring the milk production all year around. He got the chemistry Nobel price for this in 1928. A.I. Virtanen, the coolest man in the world in my books.

After google told me athletes were considered famous, and that my love for fishing has kept me completely unaware of this whole world of motorsports, I now can list a few other names too who even avid readers as Canadians are may have heard of. As far as I know, some of them are even alive.

A.I. Virtanen. Beat that when we're bragging about the cool kids!

(I'm sorry to say, that was my actual answer. I still can not believe it)
Wow, oh, ok.

I mean, it is really frat that Finland once won a hockey tourney. Once. Or twice. Must have made all 10 of you very proud or something....

And Jaques Villneuve is hardly ancient. He was racing against Schumacher (and beat him for F1 championship...)

But, as for yourmilking hero guy...uhhhh...yeaaahhhhhhh....ok then. I will concede you can milk very well.....or feed cows very well. Or whatever he did.
