I saw the screen on a new 3 series and 6 series. The b&o speaker is blocked behind the silly computer tablet screen---that off-axis coloration can't be good for the fancy schmancy sound quality now. Worse, even at the dealer there was a blanket of dust behind the computer screen. The dust coated that movable speaker. The freaking dash looks like the back of my home TV where you hide all the wires.
Only one word comes to mind with that stupid tablet like computer screen: AFTERTHOUGHT
