I have rear fog lamps on both my 1994 S500 and 2000 Range Rover and have used same many times over, weather requiring; also, Mercedes and Land Rover continue to sell vehicles w/ same in the US. It's not a make it or break it thing w/ me, but to the extent that there is a clear area to where the button would be, I feel short changed to not have the capability.
