No hard evidence but my gut reaction (and apparently the gut reaction of other folk who installed the seat) was that in no way, shape or form does it provide a tight enough environment for a very small baby. The child's head moves all over the place.
Does this look right to you? Looks a bit off eh.
I went Britax baby seat with stroller > Britax marathon > Britax Pioneer
In saying that, would be happy to look at other brands but we had the stroller and only Britax makes the final seat that is suitable for large children with a 3 point harness, the Pioneer and it's sister seat go taller and heavier than everyone else.
Our second is moving to stage 2 and I discovered the Britax Marathon we used for baby 1 has broken both of it's wings. Not happy with that effort so will be looking at other options time around.
The Diono is an absolute CRUNT to install too, christ i hate it. Use it in grandparents car.
