Everyone seems to clamour for a 320d, but I will continue to suggest that a 325d with the ~215hp N47S would actually be the perfect car for the US. Acceleration should be close to a 328i, while it would be about 25% more efficient (using 525d and 528i numbers as a basis for comparison).
