I have that problem as well but I don't need to pair/repair, it normally sorts itself out either have sometime ( maybe an hour ) or after a further stop and starting of the car.
The only other major problem I have with car play is the audio lag when using the phone , when you speak to someone there is a noticable delay before they hear what you have said to the extent that they have normally begun talking ...which is super annoying
