While we're on the subject, though; I hate it when someone forwards a whole email string to a third person that was meant to stay between me and the original recipient. If some issue comes up that requires a third person be brought in, start a new email or at least edit out the part of the string which has no bearing on the issue. Knowing this happens from time to time, I'm am now very careful about what I say in any business email.

I only do that when the person I am e-mailing is being a moron and not assisting me with what I need. I usually only copy my boss just to let him know I am dealing with Dipshit McGee over in the other office and not getting anywhere so he knows why I may not be able to meet a timeline or something.
