And you're right, with their current roster and a scrub QB they'd be 2-14, but with a scrub QB and $15M extra in new/upgraded players I'd wager they'd be a lot better than they are.

All of this! I also do NOT agree with my own teams deal with Romo. But JJ is really good at shuffling and restructuring contracts. Overpaid veteran QBs in this day and age is not smart. More than any other sport, Football requires good if not great talent spread around on the entire team to win.
