The MCT's automatic modes are brilliant, particularly S and S+.
Furthermore, Controlled Efficiency/Comfort mode on the MCT is a little smoother around town than the equivalent program on the E9X M3 w/ DCT.
That said, even with the MCT, there is a little bit of a delay while upshifting with the paddles/gear selector in M mode.
However, downshifts are still virtually instantaneous (downshifts feature automatic rev-matching).
I noticed better behavior out of the transmission after I got my Eurocharged tune. I've heard that some of the other tunes have beneficial impacts in that department as well.
