BMW dealership parts came in early...and spent all day installing all the parts.
The biggest job was unbending the transmission oil cooler, which required me to remove it from the car completely. Lost about 1/2 a quart of transmission fluid, which is about $50 a quart.
Got it sort of un-bent enough for it to mount under the radiator with all of the new plastic panels and air ducting, but transmission tubing into the oil cooler is leaking (old O-Rings), so the paneling will need to come back off when the new O-rings and transmission fluid come in from the dealership.
Took the vehicle out, and it is road worthy again.
My night vision went out before removing the bumper. Comes on for 1 second, then shuts off.....Need to look into this with ISTA, and will go ahead and start addressing the electrical issues.
Project is coming together.
