Its 1 bulb per headlight. Can't tell you how to do it because you have an E65/66, and I'm just familiar with the F01/02.
I'd ask on the E65 board (if there is one?). They'll know it much better. From what I'm seeing you need to unbolt the bumper and the light to get in there. May as well replace them both with LEDs so you never have to do it again, since its such a pain in the butt.
