I still don’t understand why they don’t just use the 1.5L B38. It should be able to make 170hp without any trouble at all. I mean it’s only down a tenth of a liter compared to the smaller displacement B48. |
I saw some video of 318i with B38 it seem like to have quite a lot of turbo lag maybe not the best choice for an heavy 520i. A 4cyl also has less vibration.
