It seems like this is BMWs first venture into this field and is testing the waters. I dont know much about this stuff, but I remember they worked with Benz to develop this (Bluetec?) and there are also probably contractual agreements between them on which cars and the time line to use this technology. I dont know much else about this, maybee someone else has more info?
