The previous and current generation Alpina B7 have the same engine!

The 760Li went from 438hp 445lbft to 544hp and 553lbft, now thats progress
If I recall correctly, the E65/66 Alpina B7 used the same engine as the E65/66 with modifications to bump up the HP and torque. The F01 B7 Biturbo uses the same engine as the F01/F02 again with modifications to bump up the HP and torque. The difference between the engine used in the previous generation Alpina B7 and the new Alpina B7 Biturbo is that they create about the same amount of HP but with a smaller engine displacement which should also result in better gas mileage!
