Congrats BMW...
First, there’s the smaller, more efficient engine; a twin-turbocharged V8 spools up to 400 horsepower, making the new 7 faster than the outgoing V12-powered model.
They mean to say its faster then the outgoing 760Li E66 V12 440bhp/445lbft
Hmmm...anyone want to chime in because I am guessing they should be around even and the outgoing 760Li should have a higher top speed as it has 4 extra cylinders and its NA.
However, having driven both cars back to back I still think I would prefer the V12 over any V8 even if it has FI (Turbos in this case)
The only exception would be something like a Maserati's Quattroporte, as its engine is also NA and is much more responsive, albeit similar performance to the outgoing 760Li V12.
