Agree with the above, buy one of them if you really want to cut fuel use but aren't as interested in overall money savings. Compare the Volt to the Civic and the Volt saves about $350 per year in fuel (15k miles a year)

Well fun to drive if getting 35 mpg. I mentioned if I went hybrid I'd be trading that aspect for over 40 mpg.
