To be honest, it wasn't that easy to tell. Those discounts are pretty thin for a 7 year old platform. Plus, the 2016 is configurable.

I wouldn't listen to a word these sales guys say. And, I would keep referencing the stark differences between the 2016 g and 2015 f.

Anything less than $30k off would have me walking. If you're gonna have to spend the money then get the real McCoy and go with a 2016 G.

If you really want the 2015, do yourself a favor: make them the offer above but $0 down + first months rent. If they balk, then walk. Also, get 15k miles so you can drive the thing and have fun.

Don't put money down on a lease. It gives you a false sense of lowering the payment. Just put the down payment in the bank. Otherwise, if you need to recast for more time at the lease end your payment will increase.
