to avoid the car rolling after u put it in park, try this.
1-place car in neutral (N) while holding foot brake.
2-apply parking brake. then release foot brake
3-turn engine off. wait a few seconds and car will roll onto ebrake. (u will get a warning stating car not in park)
4-after car does its little roll, place car in park (P) and VOILA. car won t be resting on transmission.
hope this works. does on my 02 745i and my 13 750i same way
