Lord you're all wrapped around the axle about this.
The lights can be dimmed down so low as to be almost unnoticeable, and the color can be
bronze
bronze/white
blue
blue/white
green
green/white
lilac
lilac/white
white
and the classic BMW orange or orange/white.
It's a lovely touch that's completely unobtrusive. If they didn't have this, you'd all be complaining that "Car X for for Y dollars less has interior accent lighting...WHY NOT MY 7er??!?!"
No pleasing some crowds.
