Doesn't have to be a fit. Honestly any Civic/Accord will do with a 4cyl. Not too much to break and VERY easy (and cheap) to work on. I could probably do a whole "tune up" including all fluids, belts, pulleys, sparks, etc in under 4 hours. Just ready to rock and roll all winter.
I'd recommend an Accord w/ 4 doors just for ease of everything. If you need it smaller, Civic.
