Ouch... I would be crushed.
Did you use a 3M rubber wheel to remove the double sided tape? Because if you did, that might be rubber from the the wheel that if lucky; maybe you can wipe it off with some rubbing alcohol?
But that kind of does look like its already burned paint. Oh that hurts to see.
