I was assuming that the added cost would preclude the use of monoblocks as the standard brakes, if they used the same material and just made the brakes bigger it wouldn't do much of anything and would actually have a bunch of consequences but of course you are right about bigger and better brakes. If the standard brakes aren't up to a driver's needs, you can always get the carbon ceramics which are a lot lighter and would pretty much never fade.

I read through my post again and realized I wrote better instead of bigger...
