One thing I have always remarked....the Holland is 9 lanes into 2, the Lincoln is 12 into 3, it never stops, and there is never a question of who goes next, 100% alternate merging.
Go down to Philly, and look at the merging on 476 or 76, it's ridiculous. You see complete stoppage and cars at a >= 45 degree angle trying to cut in at the beginning of the onramps.
