I doubt that the shift speed will have a tangible impact on the car's overall ability in the 1/4. I think it'll largely come down to physics and its difficulty to get all of that mass to launch effectively. The thing is outmatched in terms of mechanical grip unless those 295s are a hybrid compound of Gorilla Glue and Laffy Taffy.

I really hope that I'm wrong. However I'm expecting that in-gear acceleration will be balls-out insane.
