I know this isn't BMW-centric, but last week went to a car event at Heritage Classics in Los Angeles. They buy, sell and restore classic cars and my friend Michael manages the bookstore there. The show was an unveiling of a hand-painted Tesla buy some renowned, French artist. Personally I thought it sucked but the vintage iron surrounding it was stunning. Lot's of Corvettes, Shelby's, Jags and MB's. Even a rare Sunbeam Tiger (car used by "Get Smart") which was tiny but with a V8!

Sadly only a single BMW Isletta. Sorry for the poor quality…iPhone w/ no flash. Hope you enjoy some of these beauties. If you're ever in the West Hollywood area, this place is a must to pop in and look at the amazing cars and hundreds of old car books.
