The new merc is a pretty ride, but I hate where they put the shifter and parking brake. My last two mercedes had tranny failures (2011 S550 and 2011 E550) at about 80k miles, we didn't drive them hard either. My BMW's are sportier and just more fit for me. To each their own though. Good design is good design no matter who makes it!
