i can see why, i love my 2016 g12 750xi, the ride is great but in terms of comparing with other $100k plus cars it lacks the sophistication and details, for example compared to the new s550 or s560. The problem, as I see it, is one of cohesion.

The 7 is more of a same sausage, different length than a specialty vehicle.

Nearly all of the 7's features can be ordered on a 5 or possibly a 3.

Next, the super duper features that are available on the 7 are geared towards autonomous driving. In other words, these feature suck the fun out of the driving experience by disengaging the driver.

The end game for the 7 is pretty clear: the next generation 7 might as well be a taxi with the driver included.

Boring.
