I'm using BlackVue DR-650S. I love it. With the Magic Power Battery Pack it runs 24/7 even when the car is off. Their customer support is fantastic as well.
You can hook it up to your phone to get direct live feed or watch from before. It even has an "Impact Detection" mode that will let you know if it thinks the car was hit when parked. Sometimes it can be oversensitive, such as slamming a door or trunk, but better to be safe than sorry
(and you can turn that off).
