I have pretty much decided on a 7 instead of the M550. It is mostly because of the air suspension on the 7. I haven't been able to drive a M550, the local dealer has an "executive " car driven supposedly by the owner of the dealership but they "don't want to put miles on it" for a test drive. I have driven 540s and the F10 550 msport.
The ride has some impact harshness on our lovely roads around here. Driving any 7 the ride has no harshness.
I see New M550s around 78 to 80 with options I want. I see New 740 s at 89 and up with nice options and many items are standard.
Now I also see many 2016 750s some with great options like massage seats for $63 to $70.
It's making me think I can save some $ and get the nicely optioned 750 with the V8
