So the previous Saturday/10 days ago, I put in both the Archoil fuel and oil treatment. Even though I use Royal Purple every 4k miles. Keep in mind I drive VERY little! I'm still on the tank from when I filled up then. I will say there appears to be smoothing out taking place. Particularly on startup. Also, I didn't even think to monitor my own mpg that often until this thread. And I too am not happy at all with my mpg in the limited driving I do. I wonder how accurate our on board cluster reading is? Because if it's accurate, then I'm only averaging 10.5 which has increased to 11.
I plan on taking the car in soon just to see what the dealer says once they uhhm run their tests.
I believe EVERYONE should be monitoring their own mpg immediately and report results here!
I'm also using a 'scan tool' that sends all data to my Android.
