+1. Really disappointing if you as me. So let me get this straight. A 5.0 v8 produces 400bhp in 2001...in 2006 a 5.0 v10 produces 507bhp. Then fast forward to 2014 and a 6.0 v12 bi turbo only produces 30 measly bhp more than a n/a 5.0 v10 produced eight years prior. Heck, even without the turbos this engine should produce close to 600 bhp solely based on the engine size. This is what happens when BMW stops building real M engines and begins just putting turbo chargers on standard engines. What makes M engines so great is the fact they are practically race engines from the factory. Or...at least they used to be.
