@dbs600: The feature you are referring to is to share an address via mms or email with other phones (mms) or someones computer or phone (email). The cars do not have an 'email' address that could be used to send an address to. The google 'send to car' feature also allows for some additional notes and/or a phone number to be associated with the address you are sending to the car. That's as far as it goes for now... Hopefully in the future they will expand on these features?!?
@Jblackbelt: The BMW remote app (from the UK iTunes store) does allow you to send the map coordinates/address to the car and is basically the same as or uses the google 'send to car' feature.
