Wait…you stated you were having EPS issues…and you replaced “a” battery that was showing low state of charge.

But you didn’t tell us WHICH battery you replaced. I believe a 7 series with EPS has a main battery and an auxiliary battery…with the aux battery being the one that powers the EPS system.

You have posted a code that your “additional” battery (this is the aux battery) is deeply discharged…so can you reveal which battery you replaced..the main (big) battery or the smaller (aux) battery?

Depending on model and/or options…the aux battery can be in the trunk or in the engine bay. See attachments below for info about the aux battery & possible location…plus the systems the aux battery controls:
