WTF? how does having expensive gas push a "climate change agenda"? Gas prices go up and down because of market pressure... pushing for clean vehicles and more efficient transportation is independent of that.

Regardless of gas prices, we should be looking for independence from fossil fuels - they're limited resources and the world will run out eventually.
