Tires worn out too soon?
I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the factory 21" (or other options) wheels/tires where the tires are completely worn out (i can see the inner lining on the inside, outside and center of the tire) within 13-15k miles...
Seems to me that this is wayyy too soon for the tires to wear out and now BMW wants almost 2k+ to replace the tires? I know this isn't a regular warranty covered item but seems to me as if this didn't occur on a regular timeframe... Car has never had alignment or aftermarket rims put on. I know when I purchased it the 21's were on a different 7 on the lot and they swapped the wheels... i'm wondering if they didn't align the car after the swap.
The dealership is trying to tell me that its normal wear and tear and i have to pay full price, seems absurd to me.
Also, tried calling BMW USA and their system says offices closed... their timings are M-F 9AM - 9PM EST. Anyone know why they'd be closed and when they will reopen?
