first off, don't look at the MSRP. go to edmunds.com configure your car and start from invoice and just keep moving up in what you're willing to pay the dealer for profit. the dealers try to hide that business is still slow from the peak, and they rather move inventory than be stuck.


tell them do you want the $2-3k or sit on $80k to make an extra $2k.

plus they also make money on service and financing so they should make good money off the transaction.

I wouldn't pay more than $5k over invoice unless it is a special order car. With that said, has anyone got more than $2k off MSRP on their special ordered car?
