Which is exactly why you take your kid to any local CP party, or host if yours comes down with it first.
IF you get the vaccine, it requires a booster every decade. Then MAYBE you get the next one because school/college. Now we are into late 20s/early 30s. And with your own kids, work, stress, mortgage, . . . you don't go see the Dr., don't get that booster, and then the kids bring home the pox. You are in a world of hurt.
AND THEN you get shingles. Gee, thanks mom/dad.
