The sticker tells a very interesting story. Look at all the standard equipment on the B7 in the left hand column.



Some of those standard features are options on the regular 750.

Let's see, there's:

Convenience Package $1,700
Luxury Seating Package $2,800
Premium Sound Package $2,000
Active Roll Stabilization (ARS) $2,000
Head-up Display $1,300
Instrument panel with leather finish $1,200
Satellite radio $350

That's over $11,000 in options that are thrown in to the "standard" MSRP of $122,875 for the B7 SWB.

The MSRP on the 750i similarly configured (without M or Individual package) would be $95,225.

So, for $27,605 over the cost of a similarly configured 750i you get one of the rarest and most impressive looking cars on the road with a monster engine, modified suspension, 21" wheels, customized transmission, upgraded interior and a host of aerodynamic add-ons.

Could the Alpina B7 SWB be the bargain of the BMW lineup?
