The driver will for sure be penalized if they do that in F1.
Watching that in Fox2 reminded me how good NBC has improved from SPEED.
Turning the race into commercial break on the second lap, and entire commercial break lasted 3 minutes, by the time it returned, it was on lap 6-7 already!

Definitely lots more action, a lot has improved yet there is still quite a bit for them to figure out.
