Besides, why would they put a V12 badge on the side of the car (see picture above) and cover it up if they didn't put a V12 under the hood???
When you look at previous BMW test mules and the way they camouflaged them, by the time the car was officially revealed, those covered up features and areas are exactly as they have been from day one of the camouflage days. Usually very little changes are applied during or after this time as parts are already being manufactured by all the suppliers.
Of course we will find out for sure when the car will be officially released...won't we
