Any thoughts on my used car test drive?
24,000 miles - 2014 car...at a "supermarket" at below BMW rates.
Tyres at the rear were on 3.4mm
Fronts about 4mm
Required brakes in 3000 miles front.
Required rear brakes in 9000 miles...
Why would a 2 owner car be on the end of its tyres and brakes for such low miles....?
Condition looked ok - steering felt a fraction heavy...
Car was £27,000 sold as seen - no warranty...!
Needs £1000 tyres
£1000 brakes
£1300 warranty in August 2017.
High spec - but quite a bit of hassle buying it and then throwing it in for all sorts of work. I would be owner 3...
Was hoping if it was £30,300 all told, that I might get back £19k in two years with under 60k miles????
