I would go with the 750 on looks and iDrive improvements alone. I had an '06 750i for a short time, about 12m miles, and it was incredibly reliable. Never needed anything.
I live in snow country and can tell you from personal experience that if you put a good set of performance snow tires on it the car will be far better in the snow than other rear wheel drive cars; it will be as good as any front wheel drive car because of the 50/50 weight distribution. The key is the snow tires, however. Good luck!
