ok as far as i remember....remove the following based on the diagram:
#9 (round metal)x2--------there are 4 identations, this is where you push to turn it loose clockwise or counterclockwise.
(i may have used a long nosed plier but cant remember well)
#8 (plastic)x2
after this you can now remove item #3 (scuff plate)x1
now proceed to removing items
#13 (plastic)
#8 (square metal/plastic cover on luggage eyelet to gain access to bolt #12)
then lift up the rubber trim around the trunk, you can now move item #1 (right) or #2 (left) to gain access to the three (3) or four (4) nuts that hold the taillamp
