I seriously doubt that ICE is on the way out, I'd be willing to bet that it'll be decades before it's replaced by EV's or anything else. Hybrids still seem to be much more viable given issues with the grid as more folks transition to EV's etc.

I guess we can all speculate but I seriously don't see the EV's taking over anytime soon, even if they give a 500 mile range and were cheaper than an ICE, it seems that there doesn't seem to be the apatite for them.
