have a 2001 740i with the MKIII Nav and Widescreen display. I have intermittent problems with the buttons working on the Widescreen Head (can't turn off the radio/cd player), or set destinations with the GPS. Sometimes the sound doesn't work on the radio or cd when I drive. Hitting bumps in the road sometimes causes things to work or not work. I don't know if this is a computer problem, a display/head problem or a wiring problem. Any advice or help to diagnose and fix the problem would be greatly appreciated. If I can avoid hundreds of dollars going to the dealer and/or replacing components it would be really great!
