Till today I'm doing exactly the same thing , cutting potatoes by hand .
The best potatoes for frites (frietjes) are the Belgian bientjes...we call them the frites potatoes .
About Piedboeuf....The Belgian dark table beer , I'm drinking this beer mostly with a warm meal ...And I have always some in my fridge !
Our comments are actually the same and that's because we are both Belgians , but it's for sure we like the same things about Belgian food .
